Kim Hughes was a highly talented, stylish bastman who was fucked over by equally by the ACB and his own predeliction for the hook shot (didn't he or Graeme Wood know that Malcolm Marshall was down there?). Beautiful work, Rob. You must have spent all of your lunch money on tape. What the younger viewers don't understand is that this isn't a hightlights package, this was the series in real time. Well, not quite, but it felt like that. Some very good players made to look very, very ordinary by relentless pressure at great pace. The lack of foot movement attests to their not knowing which way the ball was going to? move. To be fair, some of those pitches were up and down which doesn't help, either.

I don't know about videos, but there are books? about the Yoruba and Akan diaspora (the Kromanti are from Ghana). The Akan one is by Kwasi Konadu and is called 'The Akan Diaspora in the Americas' and the Yoruba one by Toyin Falola called 'The Yoruba Diaspora in the Atlantic World'. The only book specifically about Igbo people in the diaspora I know is 'Murder at Montpelier: Igbo Africans in Virginia' by Douglas Chamber.

I don't see any "West Indians" here. All there are are a bunch of blacks from Africa that were brought to the Caribbean by Spain & France.
