I? know you are in the bubble...i won't even try to reason with you
By: JRCKFSH. on 28 May 12, 04:24:34
These comments make it pretty clear why Walker will win easily in June. You people are totally? fucking insane.
By: deveousdevil. on 28 May 12, 03:10:55
are democrats? incapable of getting any normal candidate against even filth like Walker?? "civil war!!....divide and conquer...." get to the issues you moron! i won't even be surprised if Walker wins -_-
By: barsense1. on 28 May 12, 02:05:02
I feel encouraged also, keep up the good fight we? need it.
By: MsMartyMa. on 28 May 12, 01:28:27
My point exactly....but yet again the facts evade the simple minded who put more credence in Fox News than to the realities that surround them! I feel encouraged that all is not lost when you have people like you fighting the good fight with me to spread the message of real facts, not bias based? in religion or the need to feed the war machine.
By: barsense1. on 28 May 12, 01:20:01
In a privatized? system people can be ripped off very easily because there are no guarantees,, fees take much more of what they are able to put into private retirment and if they become disabled before they can save enough they are left floundering. The individual assumes ALL risk in a privatized systems and can lose everything and have no recourse.
By: barsense1. on 28 May 12, 01:11:26
I would have to agree,? many or the elite have invested huge sums in developing countries and foreign consumerism where consumerism is growing and has the potential to explode as the country gains in power and economic status in the world.
By: MsMartyMa. on 28 May 12, 00:47:04
I guess the right? wing elite who con the middle class wage earners to vote for them are more interested in the Global Economy instead of the American people
By: MsMartyMa. on 28 May 12, 00:46:55
Rich people don't spend money like poor or middle class people. We tend to live pay check to paycheck where most of our income is dedicated to housing, food, and other necessities. The rich tend to hoard their money...and there isn't enough of them to support the economy solely anyway. But we do have millions of poor and middle? class people that can consume and become viable source to "job creators" if they had disposable income to spare.
By: MsMartyMa. on 28 May 12, 00:38:36
I know right! What kills me, is when I hear actual government workers like that idiot I responded to earlier brag about having a pension, but doesn't realize that most private? sector jobs have never heard of such a thing. They are supporting a man who wants to privatize everything and ensures that the middle class will never have the means to push back against the injustices inflicted upon wage earners in this country! Wow...they are hopeless
By: barsense1. on 28 May 12, 00:35:42
I am small biz owner myself and consumerism is really the single most important factor for job security small biz in this country that can not rely on foreign consumerism like the mega corps working hand in hand with republicans and their crony capitalism policies. We need a financially viable and growing middle income and we need lower income to be able to improve thier financial conditions also. We can not depend on 1% of the population? to provide all the consumerism needed.
By: barsense1. on 28 May 12, 00:29:48
Excuse my typos, please. confiscate is? what I meant to type and there are a couple of other errors in my last post but I think you are pretty sharp and won't have any problem understanding what I posted.
By: barsense1. on 28 May 12, 00:27:14
Exacly, I feel sorry for the people that were suckered in deep enough to actually support have their income reduced thinking that it? was necessary to keep their jobs when in fact it has greatly reduced the security of thier jobs when more cuts are needed to offset the losses in revenue they could be the first to go not the last and with less funding to fight for them their retirement is also much less secure. Several repub politiicans have already tried to conficate retirement funding.
By: MsMartyMa. on 28 May 12, 00:17:34
LOGIC? people.... It's an easy concept to comprehend if you'd only try.
By: MsMartyMa. on 28 May 12, 00:17:26
Absolutely....and I'm grateful for the support they are lending to the middle class. Who do these "job creators" think is going buy the goods and services they sell? If we don't have disposable income to make these purchases the economy will never recover. That's why these Patriotic Millionaires want to help with the messaging of higher taxes for the top percentile and? increased wages for wage earners, because they need us to consume to continue to make the profits they enjoy!
By: barsense1. on 28 May 12, 00:12:17
I fear you are in for one huge? disappointment because estimates already show that due to the large decrease in revenue under Walker's changes it will take draconian cuts in the future to keep debt under control instead of escalating and your job is likely much less secure now than it has ever been as well as your retirement.
By: MsMartyMa. on 28 May 12, 00:07:55
LOL...if you still have a job or a pension when he is done! So you are one of the bubbleheads voting against yourself. I guess it will take you losing your cushy government job to realize that Mr. Walker doesn't give crap about you or your fellow wage earners wellbeing...smh, so sad. After all the union has provided for you: your wage,? benefits, and great pension you turn on the members!? You are hopeless....caught up in the conservative bubble.
By: Terra812. on 27 May 12, 23:54:47
Kleg is talking about PROPERTY taxes. They did not go up this year. Keep voting against the working class??...? get a clue! I am the working class... actually I'm a City of Milwaukee employee. I'm the breed of government servant... grateful not entitled. Now that I don't have to pay the DC48 dues and with all the adjustments my paycheck is $11 less every two weeks... boo hoo. When I retire and my pension is still there and Milwaukee hasn't filed bankruptcy ... I'll be thanking Scott Walker!!!
By: barsense1. on 27 May 12, 23:39:46
Are you familiar with the Patriotic Millionaires ? They are a rather large group of very highly successful, intelligent people like Buffet, Hanauer, etc that are being honest and open enough to publicy state that cutting taxes for them and austerity approaches have failed elsewhere and in the past and will fail. That is only hurts middle income and reduces consumerism and that boosting consumerism is the better policy for middle income and for the weatlhy and a stable? economy.
By: barsense1. on 27 May 12, 23:24:43
The list is far too long to state them all but you can google Koch brothers foundation and source watch has the list. Alec? , Cato, Heritage foundation , Federalist Sociiety, and numerous other organizations where conservatives and libertarians have joined together to promote thier ideology.
By: DoctorCataclysm. on 27 May 12, 23:03:34
Which? ones? You are making broad statements with little evidence.
By: MsMartyMa. on 27 May 12, 22:47:17
WAKE UP people! If you are a wage earner that makes less $250,000 a year and identify with RepubliCon party....you are voting? against your own interests!!!!
By: MsMartyMa. on 27 May 12, 22:47:00
So true....but oh no, the extremists on? the right are blinded either by racism, homophobia, sexism or pure envy of their fellow wage earners (because they were duped by the propaganda pushers on that network they love to watch) and get distracted by the division of identity politics and allow for Scott Walker's strategy of divide and conquer to thrive.
By: barsense1. on 27 May 12, 22:14:57
Greece and the UK both went the austerity route that conservatives want here and Greece has just? fallen into a deeper more serious recession and the UK is now experiencing a double dip recesssion. economic growth stagnated under the austerity approach so a lot of suffering has been caused and it did nothing towards improving the debt problem.
