if you look and read what i said i put, in parenthesis, generally, meaning that duh of course a 10 year? old processor with a 680 isnt going to run anything, but between intels latest and amd's latest there wont be a difference with bf3, but there will be with a cpu intensive game like starcraft 2, maybe take a moment to re-read and rethink that...
By: lewis9271. on 23 May 12, 23:16:45
actually if you have a shitty processor no matter what graphics card u get it? will still be shit same goes with ram so take a moment and rethink that
By: Jamie Bell. on 23 May 12, 20:52:47
LOL?
By: shigityshigityshwa. on 23 May 12, 20:23:48
BF3 is a gpu bound game, doesn't matter the processor and it will (generally) run the same. Play starcraft 2 and you'll notice a huge difference even if cpu utilization is the same because it is a cpu bound game. Oh and mister rocket scientist its spelled realize, talked to merriam webster? earlier.
By: isaac9517. on 23 May 12, 19:37:12
Ok? And does 45% ave cpu usage vs 40 from Intel make all that much of a differnce (Bf3) so you go and shut your? dumb fucking cunt up and reaslise somthing
By: shigityshigityshwa. on 23 May 12, 17:15:17
your a fuck i just switched to ivy bridge from amd 955 (which is better than bullfaildozer) and the differences? are huge. amd is not good anymore like they used to be, im no fanboy of either since ive used both, but from MY experience intel blows amd out of the water, and then blows them off the planet

By: isaac9517. on 20 May 12, 07:13:02
Hey well my 8120 rarely pops over 50% CPU usage when in game? and thats that i have my settings in the nvidia control pannel set for maximum gpu performance while killing CPU
By: MW2watchyourback09. on 18 May 12, 14:54:13
But the fact is, that a £50 CPU performs the same as a £220 CPU. Faildozer was fail. Now im going to stop replying. BTW? I would rather have a Phenom II.
By: isaac9517. on 18 May 12, 11:54:48
By like 3 fps at most still 8150 beats it in everything else and the games could me in the margin? of error
By: MW2watchyourback09. on 18 May 12, 05:50:13
In all 4 games tested, the G850? wins. And this is a £60/$80 CPU. The 8150 is a £220/$250 CPU. Just goes to show how much of a failure Bulldozer was...
By: isaac9517. on 18 May 12, 02:29:21
Scratch that only like 2 things? does the thing beat it and thats single thread by a little
By: isaac9517. on 18 May 12, 02:27:51
you? realise that the 8150 beats that cpu in most stuff and allot where games where its more of a gpu and ram issue
By: HippehMac. on 17 May 12, 23:23:10
The cores of my 3770K are FAR more powerful than the cores of any bulldozer. And, the 3770k is LGA1155...that's not premium, dude. 3960X is flashy. And you're right, for gaming, the 3770K IS overkill. But, I like to render? videos etc. also. Bulldozer was a flop. The marketing AMD used hyped it up to be an Intel killer, when all it did was reinforce Intel's supremacy, i'm afraid. I sincerely hope that Piledriver is better, as the market needs more competition - it makes things cheaper!
By: isaac9517. on 17 May 12, 11:55:37
Ok but do you need all that processing power to play games? N still any amd CPU is plenty to run any modern game perfectly fine so go troll others with your over priced ivy bridge to go with your ivory computer case and you gpu made? of ivory
By: HippehMac. on 17 May 12, 07:07:31
The fact is, the lowly Core i3-2100 can match/beat the FX-8150 at games. When it comes to games, core count doesn't really matter that much. What matters more is the power of each core. Bulldozer was a fail, now let's see what Piledriver? can offer us. For now, until AMD picks up again, i'll be keeping my 3770K.
By: MW2watchyourback09. on 16 May 12, 19:16:42
Ehhhh... *facedesk* It doesnt quite work like that, Clock speed means nothing. It's all about architecture. And the SB Architecture is SO much better than Bulldozer. Just look? it up and stop sprouting uneducated crap. I say once more, GO TO ANANDTECH CPU COMPARE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF.
By: isaac9517. on 16 May 12, 18:03:51
You? use 4 per game so 3.8x4 or 2.9x 2
By: MW2watchyourback09. on 16 May 12, 15:58:26
Erm...? Look it up. Cores mean shit when games cannot use all of them. Go onto the anandtech CPU compare and look at the benchmarks of the G850 vs the FX-8150.
By: isaac9517. on 16 May 12, 12:27:14
Its true? don't knock it till youve tried it
By: isaac9517. on 16 May 12, 12:15:32
Phone was about to die but I'm pretty sure 8 cores beats 2 by? a long shot
