P.S. There's a little of EVERYTHING on my channel bro, HAHA. Lights, guns, knives, artwork, pens/pencils, girls, electronics, audio gear, computers, watches, and so on... can't even name it all. Not too much I can't? find some sort of interest in. I just got my Breitling Airwolf Raven and I still need to do a review on my Omega Seamaster and several new flashlights and knives of course. I tend to spend more money on watches and audio equipment than anything else though.
By: X4CTO. on 01 May 12, 18:49:49
Absolutely... HAHA. I will be uploading a lot of footage from the local Candle Power Forum Meet we attended a bit ago. Lot's of high powered lights out there that night, sweet shit! Just type in "X4CTO flashlight" into You Tube or on my channel page and you'll see all of my flashlight? videos. I'm a bit of a flashaholic. =)

Sweet man didn't know you were into lights also, I am as well?
By: X4CTO. on 08 Mar 12, 07:24:28
Well good luck, hopefully you can get it working good again. If you can find a? good magnet of the proper diameter and get it all attached then I don't see an issue with that.
By: vectraB97. on 07 Mar 12, 09:31:10
I am considering soldering the spring to the magnet and glue the magnet on to the cap with silicone glue.. If possible.. ? Magnet must have diameter enough to drop in and touch the battery tube.
By: X4CTO. on 07 Mar 12, 09:21:49
You mean a magnet to attach the spring to? the tail cap? If so you'd have to glue or imbed the magnet because aluminum is not a ferrous metal, so it's non-magnetic.
By: vectraB97. on 07 Mar 12, 09:01:56
definitely not fake, just a little complicated and fragile design on these lights.. Would it be possible to solder the original spring on to a magnet and use the that as contact board? for my spring? I never understand why Zebralight build this no switch tail-cap without magnet..
By: X4CTO. on 07 Mar 12, 08:48:02
Yeah it unlikely it's a? fake, haven't seen many fakes of those running around out there. Just got a bad one I guess. Mine and my boy hugo2x had zero issues. Now my girl Davanh has mine and loves it. Some things are like that... like people love their Axis locking knives... I despise them because of my issues as discussed in many videos, LOL. Caught a lot of shit for it too.
By: vectraB97. on 07 Mar 12, 08:23:39
my dealer is the most recognised flashlight dealer in Norway. So my Zebralight is definitely not fake.. Seems to be driver failure also. It works with spring from one of my unbranded AA flashlights.. But steps? down from full mode even with freshly charged duracell measuring 1.47v. Using much thicker spring didn't help. I am putting my spring back in my unbranded light because it's more durable than my Zebralight. It also throws better, don't turn on in my bocket and is more useful
By: X4CTO. on 07 Mar 12, 06:02:03
I agree? with you about Fenix... my favorite brand hands down. I have many of them, done lot's of Fenix reviews in the past. Carry one everyday, usually either my LD01 or LD05. Have never had a single issue with any of my Fenix lights.
By: X4CTO. on 07 Mar 12, 05:59:44
I got mine directly from the man's hand at Zebra Light so I got a good one I guess, haha. Met him at the CPF meet I went to with one of my friends on here... hugo2x. Gotta a good deal on it, I was pleased with mine while I had it... but I recently gave it to my girl on here. Never had a? problem with it, sorry to hear you had some.
By: vectraB97. on 07 Mar 12, 02:51:15
My only led flashlights that have broken are zebralight and new flear xlamp something.. Have? not even destroyed any of my cheap ultrafire flashlights.. Fenix is my favourite quality brand..
By: vectraB97. on 07 Mar 12, 02:38:21
I don't like my zebralight.. Was nicked from the factory, switch also turns on in your pocket to easy, clip got destroyed fast, and I got delivered the wrong tint, also? it not working anymore since the battery cover is really shitty made, the cover got 2layer of something carbon looking, a really thin and flimsy contact plate and a bad thiny spring.. Trouble with contract, and to high resistance is not uncommon.. I Have not used my zebralight much.. Not buying this brand again..
By: DQuerel. on 26 Nov 11, 00:29:52
By: X4CTO. on 11 Oct 11, 04:09:19
I really like this light a lot... I use it all the? time as a head lamp when doing things around the house.
By: fsdfmsbcxx. on 09 Oct 11, 12:02:53
This light has one of the best performance with sanyo eneloop batteries (hybrid) of all single AA lights on the market. Its runtime/brightness-ratio is impressive. Unfortunately? it's very expensive in europe.
By: X4CTO. on 02 Sep 11, 06:02:56
Me too... nice light so far! I am more a fan of single cell lights personally, but a 2 AA would definitely give you more runtime, and maybe more brightness too... can't argue with that, haha. Some people don't like the Zebralights from what I've? been hearing, but I use mine a lot and have not had a single problem with it.
By: nutsforknives. on 01 Sep 11, 20:16:39
I bought this? exact light recently, I really like it. I wish Zebralight had more offerings. A 2xaa light would be awesome.
By: INFIDELxSTRONG. on 11 Aug 11, 01:45:11
@sharpanator that's terrible. thanks for the heads up. i haven't tried one of these yet, but it's always good to hear others experiences with a product. looks like i'll probably just leave this light? alone & stick with the brands i know.
By: X4CTO. on 25 Jul 11, 11:07:25
Man, I really apologize for the delayed response... but I've been so damn busy lately! I've personally not? accidentally turned the light on in my pocket, but this is largely dependent on how and where you carry it and what else is in your pocket with it I would think. I just tries the .18 mode and didn't notice any flickering... but I don't really use this mode much either to be honest.
By: Jason99942. on 15 Jul 11, 19:06:33
@X4CTO Two potential issues people have discussed: (1) accidentally turning on in your pocket (2) PWM modes. There are 2 of them, 1 being the lowest 0.18 lumens. Have you had? the light turn on without your knowledge? Do you notice flickering @ the 0.18 mode?
By: X4CTO. on 27 May 11, 04:47:28
Yes sir... I love it so far! I hear you bro... don't like spending my money on crap that's hyped up, lot of that out there... and I really hate when I am asked to spend more money than something is worth due to? that hype! I try to find the best I can afford and I look for stuff that lives up to the claims! I am very happy with this Zebra so far... build quality feels very solid and it definitely has a good output.
By: INFIDELxSTRONG. on 27 May 11, 04:40:29
that's a great light. & i'm with you. all i ask is that a product is made well. nothing makes me madder than when i spend my hard earned money on an item that is claimed to be the shit & that's all it turns? out to be. shit. looks like i might be investing in a Zebra Light.
By: X4CTO. on 25 May 11, 03:00:00
It's a great pocket clip in my opinion... very strong like the one on my Fenix LD01. Nice style to the light too, I agree. I really like the modes and how you operate? them too. So far I am impressed with the light completely.
By: wolfbrother2501. on 24 May 11, 19:25:57
i love it pocket clip is nice beautiful colour to it excelent "laser? pointer" style and the mode set up seems perfect too
