You forget though that your employer has to pay $30/hr so you can get $25/hr and feel good about it. The rest gets taken by your union boss. Me? I'll just go work for an employer? who will pay me that $30 without making the union boss rich

Unions were vital to create reasonable working conditions. But we don't need the unions any more we have federal laws regarding safety, hours and minimum wage. BTW... minimum wage is what you pay a high school kid to flip burgers at McDonalds... if you are an adult and can't COMMAND more than minimum wage... learn to read and do simple math. Illegal aliens working construction? get more than $18/hr... WITHOUT unions

It makes me sick to watch this little corp. weasel grin and lie to so many, Unions are what keeps your wages up , even if you ain't in one, other companies must pay higher wages to keep the best of the best. Ask yourself if you had the chance to make $25 an hour with benefits, or $15 with no benefits, witch would you take honestly. Plus if they get their way they could drive you further and further down maybe someday will be luck and make a Chinese salary. " ALL HAIL THE CHEIF''' ?

Human hypocrisy never ceases to amaze me. When the economy was booming, and the private sector was making a killing, no one gave a SHIT that public sector employees didn't share in that boom. Now that their party is over they want to come to us to take away what we have. It's like the "Prodigal Son" who, after enjoying all his cash, goes? broke and returns to his father to support him. Absolutely sickening.

Support Right to Work Laws! NO worker should be FORCED to join a union or be FORCED to pay dues or fees to a union just to obtain or keep a job. Forced Unionism relies on gov't regulation for union power instead of? selling the benefits of union membership to the worker who would then be FREE to CHOOSE to join or not. Forced unionism is bad for the union because politicians change. FORCED unionism is forced SLAVERY! Closed-Shop unions bosses are greedy slavers of Useful Idiots!
