lockout is good for Cavalier because Le Bron would be another year older. There should be lockout every year for the next 5 years. at the same time only 30 players got to vote, if all 400 players voted the lockout would've been over a while ago. The? lawyers/billy hunter got paid no matter what, so they were ok with telling players not to take the deal.... But now the lockout is finally over.

Also, don't try to convince me the owners are lazy, and greedy. These guys are the ones who put their money into their business and give everyone around them jobs. I've not seen many players who've done much but buy drugs, sex, and guns with their paychecks. What happened? to the days of the best players fighting against each other to see whos on top? Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Akeem Olajuwon etc. These guys fought each other year after year for championships. If you lost in the Finals that means the other team was better, not now days where the other team spent more money than you did. That's why nobody cares about the NBA anymore. If you really wanna even the playing field then install a hard-cap salary like the NFL. Also, do you realize that the minimum NBA? salary is roughly 600,000. That's only the minimum, the average is 2.1 million. These numbers may drop if the BRI proportion is lowered to 50% for players, but like charles said they're still gonna get paid regardless.
