So, as a conservative person (one that can think for himself) why must I be FORCED to join a union? Unions simply "Re-Distribute" a workers wealth and pay for the Democrats platform, plain? and simple. Without 99.9% of the money from the Unions and the spin from the 99.9% Liberal media behind them, the Democrats would not stand a chance at any election based on FACTS. Forced anything is NOT Freedom. Wake up America!!!!
By: KiwiTomCrawford. on 09 May 12, 08:39:47
Freedom of association is a? human right, so fuck you forced unionism!
By: Wrenchbender412i. on 18 Mar 12, 17:27:24
@TheValkyrie700 On average, wages in right to work? states are $5000 a year less than wages where unions are strong. So you would have MORE money if you paid union dues, not less. And when you retire,(if you ever retire) you will either be thanking your union for protecting your pension, or you will be cursing your own stupidity for allowing some right fucker like Mitt Romney to steal your pension.

You better wake up and get your head out of Rush Limbaugh's ass if you think your gonna keep your money. All your gonna get is an ungreased shlong out of the deal if Right? to Work passes. I hope you enjoy ramen noodles and generic mac and cheese if you get your wish. Maybe you should compare your wage and benefit package to someone in ND who works the same public sector job you do....chances are its half of what you make with no benefits
By: TankerUSA. on 15 Mar 12, 17:24:29
No you wouldn't! You are not looking at the whole picture, let me give you an example. I'm a union worker at a level 1 Trauma center, in the ER. Our lab staff decided to drop their union, here is what they lost. Their retirement pension. Half of their ill time and vacation time per year benefits. Health insurance premium went up 36%. Zero % wage increase 4 years straight. We didn't, the Hospital made 347 million profit in 2011, CEO and Co made big bonuses and wage? increase!!!

One day your going to get old, or god forbid? sick, or hurt, Your will just replace you. Then your on your own.
By: superkunk2. on 14 Mar 12, 18:57:01
Some people work faster than others. You shouldn't have to kill your self for your employer. Talking about scaring people. Stop telling people if they can't be like you, they're doomed min. Wage, or welfare, Public aid. No life . Not all people can go to college to better them self. Some have to grab a shovel back there backs. That doesn't mean they're any? less of a person. You have no idea what your talking about rich boy
By: TheValkyrie700. on 14 Mar 12, 17:40:30
Actually, i would have more money? if I weren't paying union dues and mandated state pension donations.
By: TheValkyrie700. on 14 Mar 12, 17:36:28
Quit? trying to scare people. The mkt should determine the wages. Unions are outdated; this isn't the 1930's. If a business wants good employees, it will pay more. if they want #$%t employees, they'll pay low wages. if they want the quality employees, they'll have good benefit plans. Likewise, if they want bad employees they'll have a terrible benefit plan.

@TheValkyrThe voice of a true red neck. One day your going to get old and 68 years old is a long time to wait for your S.S. and? pension, O wait no pension. I can see a 65 year old man shoveling asphalt.
By: superkunk2. on 14 Mar 12, 14:26:31
non union people watch out also.? min. wage will be coming your way too.
By: superkunk2. on 14 Mar 12, 13:12:06
right to work states ( min. wage states ) are the poorest in the nation. If you can afford the gas, take a drive through the south. You? can tell the wages made there. They are so brain washed they think they're do great.
By: TheValkyrie700. on 13 Mar 12, 23:36:10
yes, we should be able to opt out of paying union dues. I can't wait to vote for the Right to work' bill this Nov. in MN. All? i get in return from them every month is a lousy propaganda magazine from AFSCME. No thanks! I would rather keep my money instead.
By: MrJohngalt2011. on 13 Mar 12, 20:50:27
Many of those cars are made in America (dude) in right to work states. Won't hold my breath either when you try to explain that. Or how about that unemployment is? lower in right to work states, and companies are moving into right to work states and out of forced, compulsory and anti-american union states.
By: MrJohngalt2011. on 13 Mar 12, 20:48:18
I hear a lot of a certain word in your post that you seek to remove from everyone else in America - CHOICE. You seek to remove choices from other workers. You? seek to force everyone to pay into huge union scam pension plans that benfit the party commisars and not the workers. You seek to make other pay into political campaigns they disagree with. You speak about communist china - where everyone is the same and is forced to submit to the will of the collective-THIS IS UNIONS
By: MrJohngalt2011. on 13 Mar 12, 20:45:21
So choice is bad. So democracy is bad for American workers? How again does that work. I should be able to choose to join a union-or not! I should? be able to choose to contribute to a union through dues-or NOT! I should be able to direct if my dues can be used for political campaigns and for which candidate or issue. Unions seek totalitarian rule over works - they must join, they must pay, and the union fat cats choose the political candidate to support. This is FUNDAMENTALLY UN-AMERICAN.
By: vr66r. on 09 Mar 12, 02:26:31
FUCK? YOUR UNION!!!
By: deltasword1994. on 06 Mar 12, 03:59:21
well as a student at university, that's not? really an option. Also, I forgot to mention all of the lazy coworkers I am forced to deal with....
By: dbistrumalot. on 06 Mar 12, 03:12:25
When you pay shit wages and you raise them slightly so the fuck what. it doesn't prove anything, Just that in right? to work states more low wage jobs are being created. That's good for companies but not for workers
By: dbistrumalot. on 06 Mar 12, 03:10:34
Too bad the cost of everything? else has tripled in the same time frame. Wages have not kept up with cost of living and that's a fact.
By: dbistrumalot. on 06 Mar 12, 03:08:59
The fact? of the matter is , if trade union workers are not productive they will be out of a job, plain and simple
By: dbistrumalot. on 06 Mar 12, 03:08:03
You need to get in a different occupation with a different union.? try construction laborer or carpenter. Much more pay, in fact enough that you could afford to live comfortably
By: deltasword1994. on 04 Mar 12, 09:20:38
and you know the great thing? My union doesn't do jack dittely shit. The last important thing the fought for? was ten years ago, for seniority and job security. IT DOESN'T EVEN APPLY TO ME. BECAUSE OF HOW YOUNG I AM, I RECEIVE NO BENEFITS.
By: deltasword1994. on 04 Mar 12, 09:18:57
I love my union. I work in the grocery retail industry, barely making? more than minimum wage (only 10 cents more) I have car bill, gas bill, living expenditures, and various oddities (such as college costs) that eat up my money (this includes taxes). At the end of all that, I have approximately $7 left in my check, which the union takes for itself. I live paycheck to paycheck, not even having enough money to save up. I work more than 40 hours weeks to survive.... RIDICULOUS!!!!
By: nktank84. on 03 Mar 12, 10:15:32
My Union hall just spent 5 million dollars on an addition to? our training center to provide the latest and greatest training for its members. That way we can work faster and provide better quality work for the contractors that we work for.
