I have never been in a job/career where my wage was "contracted for with an employer".? I've alway been in a position where I have to take what is ofterred, prove I am a good worker and, thus, earn higher wages, or as you say leave. But you do have quite a few more rights than just a safe working environment unless you specifically sign-them-away when you are hired or in the hiring process. Now you've so easily dispensed with the Old Testament, we can look to Christ's teaching in the New Testament on alternate sexuality: Matthew 19:12 where he makes it clear that "some are born that way". Any that use the word 'homosexual' are perforce mistranslation, because in the Ancient Hebrew and Ancient Greek there was no? such word. The word was invented by 19th Century German psychiatrists. Mark 10 ref: You are almost correct, Deut 24:1 does permit divorce, there is a lot going on in Mark 10, it would take too long to explain, but it deals w the reason 4 divorce and remarriage. I believe that God exists, and believe there is proof and I care very little about what the Catholic Church and other religions teach. I Ditto u on Global Warming. We welcome gays in our church the same way everyone is welcomed, (for all have sinned), I would have strong words w anyone treating them poorly, but gays cannot serve in any office in the church and cannot be in membership of the Church. Religion is centred around belief in a deity, for which no empirical proof exists. There is? abundant evidence however for evolution that is now accepted even by the Roman Catholic Church. As for global warming, the jury's still out but it is certainly not a tax deductible 'religion' There is no single Christian catechism, in fact the 34,000 denominations cannot even agree on Birth Control and Divorce, let alone Homosexuality.
