KONY 2012?
By: WereTech. on 02 Mar 12, 23:04:55
Not %100 followinng all of that, but yes. I feel my choices are limited to the two main parties until a third independent party starts making big strides in a majority of states across the country. I have, myself, thrown away my vote more than? once voting for an indepedent, when my vote would have helped to kep the greater of two evils out of office. It would be good to be able to vote my conscience, but it kicks me in the butt every time vote independent.
By: SuperBetty213. on 01 Mar 12, 23:24:19
Ron Paul. I almost believe the bat guano analysis of the reptoid conspiracy theorists when I see that ugly reminder that Jim Crow did not go so very far away. Gonna have to go with the least of all the evils in? this November's Presidential NBA Championships. And if he loses, I will start practicing my dragon speak and learning how to be a protocol serf for the Romney Clan, Michigan Country Clubbers are really easy to fool into thinking you are a black Irish serf.

RON PAUL 2012?
By: Amadeus5150. on 27 Feb 12, 09:14:07
That's because most people who are going through tough times will always blame the person in charge, regardless of their positions, just like they Blamed Bush and so forth. This all just a repeat of the 80's really. Bad first 2 years under Reagan, economic growth the rest of his? presidency, popular president and all that stuff. Same thing with Obama.
By: WereTech. on 25 Feb 12, 02:08:58
Are you for WorkFare? Like the structure that was used to build the National Parks? Honestly. Most people getting assistance (not? handouts) are trying to get jobs, but they can't get them - or when they do, they are at a much lower pay-rate then they had previously and often do not provide benefits and aren't even 40-hours per week. Let's get real jobs for Americans and treat them like American workers and not second-class citizens. All US citizens are supposed too be equal
By: WereTech. on 25 Feb 12, 02:02:05
I'm not a backer of any Republicans running for office, but Ron Paul is the only one of them that I would want to see beat President Obama for re-election. Frankly, all the others remind me of mobs of villagers waving pitchforks and torches as they attack Frankenstien's laboratory. I? have no doubt that Ron Paul would really TRY to shake things up if he were to become President< but I think that President Obama has tried as well ... sometimes blocked by his own civility and calm.
By: WereTech. on 25 Feb 12, 01:55:45
I have never been in a job/career where my wage was "contracted for with an employer".? I've alway been in a position where I have to take what is ofterred, prove I am a good worker and, thus, earn higher wages, or as you say leave. But you do have quite a few more rights than just a safe working environment unless you specifically sign-them-away when you are hired or in the hiring process. Unless we are talking about some other country than America.
By: WereTech. on 25 Feb 12, 01:50:53
What you are saying does not make sense. please rephrase it in another way. I'll answer what I think you are trying too say. In most cases, people that are making investments try to get the highest yield on their returns. When overseas investments have higher returns (mostly due to lower worker pay somewhere), they will tend to invest in that. This goes? for 401K's that are set up through mutual funds, etc as well. Please note what the second part is in regards to.
By: F0x1214. on 23 Feb 12, 04:00:41
Israel has 300 nukes with a sophisticated system to launch them. They have refused sanctions,? over and over again.
By: F0x1214. on 23 Feb 12, 03:49:37
Do you think we can finance all these wars forever? Once our economy crashes because of so much expending? we won't even be able to protect ourselves.
By: F0x1214. on 23 Feb 12, 03:47:45
the middle east has one. Also RP does not support welfare at all, he actually wants to cut all the welfare programs Obama is creating, such as Obamacare that costs trillions. Also don't assume we can't advance technologically if we are not in wars. In addition the money we spend in our military are trillions too, and soon we might start another war? without any actual evidence that Iran has actual weapons of mass destruction.
By: F0x1214. on 23 Feb 12, 03:43:02
You do realize that with all our military back there would be more jobs just like in WWII when the soldiers came back? You do realize the? military does not create millions of jobs in our country, rather thousands and the spending for these jobs is enormous? Just because technology has evolved through actual wars (WWI, WWII) it doesn't justify our current propaganda wars. The soviets, korea, and many other countries have thousands of nuclear weapons too, so far we have no proof
By: MrJohngalt2011. on 23 Feb 12, 00:49:40
We have treaties and obligations to meet and Defense is very small compared to redistribution payments and entitlement programs. Defense is providing jobs, millions of them to Americans.? Welfare does not. Also I assume you see the irony - complaining about military spending but using military derived technology: internet, PCs, wireless keyboard and mouse, miniturized hard drives. you probably also use things like cell phones and GPS. You are the beneficiary of military spending.
By: F0x1214. on 22 Feb 12, 23:28:17
All the bases we have around the world are not needed, we live in a world where information and technology allows us not to have all these bases. We cannot finance all this military? and this is partly of what is breaking our economy. Other countries attack us because we are in their countries trying to tell them what to do. We wouldn't like other country telling us what to do and killing our civilians to find "treats." We would be terrorist to them when we fight back.
By: F0x1214. on 22 Feb 12, 23:25:32
He is not going back to an isolationist stand point. He is going back to the point where we go to war, we finish it and we get out. To the point where we declare war constitutionally through congress. To the point where the country supports? the war. He knows that if there is a treat we will deal with it, not these 10 year wars. We are spending too much in treat that don't exist. Mass destruction bombs have not been found yet in the middle east after 10 years. Only propaganda.
By: MrJohngalt2011. on 22 Feb 12, 22:05:37
We can not? go back to an isolationist stand point.
By: MrJohngalt2011. on 22 Feb 12, 22:04:39
He is too much of an isolationist. We live and must do business in a global environment. That means ensuring ours and others access to markets and the ability to ship material... that means the US Navy operating? and ensure the SLOC stay open.
By: F0x1214. on 22 Feb 12, 21:41:31
I think you are misinformed on the wars and on why groups target the U.S. I'd review what RP has said about foreign policy if I were you instead of? hearing it coming from other mediums
By: F0x1214. on 22 Feb 12, 21:38:47
How is he a flake on foreign policy when all he is trying to do? is going back to the principles of the Constitution and most of the troops support him?
By: MrJohngalt2011. on 22 Feb 12, 21:31:45
The? "workers" get the wage they contract for with the employer. outside of a safe working environment they have no other rights. they choose to work there or they do not.
By: MrJohngalt2011. on 22 Feb 12, 21:29:21
What proof do you have of this overseas only investment? Taking money from wage earners to? give to those that don't earn a wage makes no one rich and does not stimulate the economy.
By: MrJohngalt2011. on 22 Feb 12, 21:28:08
I agree on the news, but disagree on Ron Paul. Good on domestic issue but I think? he is a flake on the foreign policy.
By: F0x1214. on 22 Feb 12, 19:11:17
Sure, why not? You trust MSNBC? lol. All the? mass media we have right now is pretty corrupt with few exceptions like RT news. MSNBC, CNN, FOX, etc have been trying to hide Ron Paul as much as they can. Go ahead and Youtube "Ron Paul on taxes" or "troops march for Ron Paul February 20"
By: MrJohngalt2011. on 22 Feb 12, 18:42:19
And that's because a rising tide raises all boats. If we get the country going economically? (not what Obama is doing) the poor and middle class will all be doing a lot better. Giving handouts for years do not create a single job - getting them jobs does.
