This is a horrendously unbalanced report. No-one can be forced to join a union. Closed-shops and union-shops were outlawed in 1947. There's nothing wrong with a debate about? the pros and cons of union membership but the obvious bias is sickening. Fox is not a news organization.
By: purepllc. on 19 Apr 12, 21:53:14
I am all for a right to work bill I live in WI and we are forced. The unions would have to work a hell of a lot harder to get peoples money instead of just saying to work here you must pay. That is not right.?

NO Positive employment growth in FL. RTW folly state . In Jacksonville, how many 100 million $ for the new court house; when Tax payers voted OK for ( I forget) 10's of mills? not 100s of mills. Contract was given to a NON-Union contractor who was also OUT-of-stae,contractor. When we picketed & made our stand -- offering to do same job for same price --- they (mayor) said that it wasn't ABOUT the $ ; it was about the POWER !!! Later we had to picket again for ALL the

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS !!! So of course lots of people flock to state of RTW --- They don't check up on employee's RIGHT to EVEN be IN the COUNTRY !!! Why do WE the People give SO many tax & other Breaks to new immigrants (legal or not) these days? The country never gave any "breaks" to MY ancestors !!! All I want is to work an honest day / for an honest pay. And YES I am Union all the way . YouTube? search "IBEW drummer" band: "by-definition"

I'm all for? free competition and the right to work.
By: theblackout27. on 28 Aug 11, 02:31:05
I thought that for a second too, but think about the meaning. She means that the right to work states are more competitive, thus stealing the? lunch of the states that aren't. But I'm totally pro - right to work so that's fine with me.

Well this seems quite balanced. American journalism? really is a slab of old tripe.

And how will America function with a Labor Union supported left wing agenda? in which non White immigration has Whites making up 25% of the Nations population ??? Just about like South Africa which has an out of this World crime rate caused by yes, non Whites. I belong to a Union where I work and naturally my Union has to give money to left wing (Democratic Party) causes which is something I do not support. Liberalism is a third World disaster in the making.
By: MrBEB123. on 25 Aug 11, 23:36:34
Labor Unions support a left wing agenda including massive non White third World immigration that is changing the demographics of our Country. As recently as the 1960's America was 90% White. Today it is more like 70% and is projected to be less than 50% in the near future. From there who knows maybe less than? 1% of Americas population will be White. America will not function as it has in the past with those kinds of changes in demographics. God wants a Christian nation not Islamic.

By: PUGS1688. on 25 Aug 11, 21:38:30
Yea, I know that...but Fox News is finding another way to bash Unions...that's my point. They would never show a chart that would show less than 20%? of Americans being in a Union because it would go against their agenda.
By: 40ozcasualtys. on 25 Aug 11, 21:27:10
They weren't bashing unions as a whole, just FORCED UNIONISM. The figures in the charts represent Right to work states vs. Forced union states, Not a total percentage of American workers? who are in unions. You should try paying attention a little more.
By: zepproxx. on 25 Aug 11, 21:21:53
She never bashed unions. They reported a story. If anything she was pro union. Listen? to her last comment.
By: PUGS1688. on 25 Aug 11, 21:11:26
Oh look, Fox News bashing Unions...I am SOOO surprised. Oh look, they even found a pie chart that says more people are forced into Unions than not, when Unions represent less than 20% of the work force in America? lol fox news... ?
